LARGE SQUARE BALER
The BB9000 range of Large square balers transforms sometimes unwanted harvesting by products into valuable sources of energy. The range is available in a wide variety of configurations that produce bales of varying sizes, and that leaves fields squeaky clean of all unwanted crop residue.
POWERFUL PRE-COMPRESSION CHAMBE
To ensure a consistently shaped wad, straw and maize stover is initially collected and compressed in a pre-compression chamber before entering the baler. This ensures that each and every wad is of consistent density, for uniform, dense and well-shaped bales with enhanced combustion characteristics that are sought after by the straw-fuelled power stations of Northern Europe.
The entire range can be fitted with the optional TwinCutter™ system. This prechopper is fitted in front of the standard pick-up and features 44 heavy duty knives which finely chop all material before it enters the bale to increase overall bale density for a higher energy content and improved combustion profile. The chop length can be varied according to individual customer needs.
DOUBLE KNOT TECHNOLOGY
New Holland developed the double knotter technology many years ago, and this then revolutionary technology ensures that the bales are securely fastened, perfect for transport and handling.
